Charles “Skip” Hart, 79, of Girard, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 6:44 p.m. at his son’s home on the Northwest side of Warren.
He was born October 6, 1942, in Youngstown, the son of the late Lewis and Martha Virginia Butler Hart and was a lifelong area resident.
Skip was a veteran of the United States Army and retired as an electrical engineer.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and tinkering with CB radios.
Fond memories of Skip will forever be cherished by his children Dawna Gresko of McDonald; and Timothy (Jane) Hart of Warren; his grandchildren Elexis and Michael Hardwick; and Mitchell, Elizabeth and Luke Bailes; and by two great grandchildren Ryder and Emily. He is also survived by two brothers Thomas (Carol Ann) Hart of McDonald and James Hart of McDonald and by a sister Judi Hart also of McDonald.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service and a caring cremation will take place.
The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Skip’s name to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #2 4496 Mahoning Ave., P.O. Box 268, Youngstown, Ohio 44515.
