Charles Grantz

Charles R. Grantz, 51, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 6:12 a.m. at Hospice House in Poland following a courageous battle with metastatic liver cancer. 

He was born on March 8, 1970, in Warren the son of the late Jerry and Linda Grantz and was a lifelong area resident.

Charles was a hardworking carpet installer for 37 years and was also a great mechanic. 

He loved his family, and his heart was always with his children, sisters, nieces and nephews and his grandchildren.

Charles loved to drink, go camping and canoeing at Cooks Forest, PA.  He told a lot of jokes…had a passion for fast cars and loud music.

Charles is survived by his children Angel (Paul) Grantz, Amanda Grantz, Charles (Amber) Grantz, Summer Stanley and Destiny Stanley; his siblings Patti Hayes, Robert Grantz and Sue (Nick) Threat.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Angeleah Bennett, Samuel Bennett, Braydon Richards, Charles “CJ” Grantz, Casper Grantz and Annessa Grantz and by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a sister Mary Grantz and a brother Jerry Grantz.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until the hour of service in the funeral home.

A Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, in the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.
