Carolyn Ervin

WARREN – Carolyn Ervin, age 65, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.  She was born March 18, 1958, in Indianola Mississippi, a daughter of George Ervin, Sr. and Harriet (Spencer) Ervin.

A graduate of Western Reserve High School, Carolyn worked for Warren City Schools. She loved playing bingo, going to Hollywood Gaming, listening to music, spending time with her grandchildren, and being a foster mom. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.

Fond memories of Carolyn live on with her daughter, Harriet Ervin of Niles; brother, George Ervin, Jr. (Tina) of Howland; sisters, Lily Tiggett of Leavittsburg, Gloria Ervin of Decatur, Georgia, Sherry Ervin of Warren, and Bertha Johnson of Champion; three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, two sisters, Bobby Williams and Elise Ervin, and brother-in-law, Herman Tiggett.

Calling hours are 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 pm with Bishop Sam Smith officiating.
