Carol J. Cardarelli

WARREN – Carol J. Cardarelli, age 71, a lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  She was born September 11, 1949 in Warren, the daughter of Thomas and Antoinette (DelVecchio) Cardarelli.

A 1967 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, Carol continued her education at Kent State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in special education and a master’s degree in English. She began her career on a part-time basis with the Warren City School system in 1971 and began full-time employment in 1983-84.  She retired in 2007 with over thirty years of service.

Carol was an avid animal lover who had, over the years, a number of rescue dogs.  Donations in Carol’s memory can be made to Sanctuary for Senior Dogs, P.O. Box 609054, Cleveland, Ohio 44109.

She is sadly missed by her sister, Alberta Denovcheck (Rich) of Henderson, Nev.; her cousin, Mary Catherine Scarnecchia of Warren; and other family and friends.

Her parents, Thomas and Antoinette Cardarelli, precede her in death

Per her request, cremation is taking place.  Her urn will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery.  Graveside services will be held at a later date.
