Carlton W. Spellman

WARREN – Carlton W. Spellman, age 67, lifelong Warren resident, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 6, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.  He was born July 24, 1952 in Warren, the son of Robert and Inez (Stroud) Spellman.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Carlton worked at Republic Steel and attended Greater Apostolic Faith Church.  A bright man and talented saxophone player, he enjoyed music, walking, and being together with good people.

Precious memories of Carlton live on with his brother, Kirk Spellman of Panorama City, Calif; two sisters, Roberta Harris of Youngstown and Barbara Roberts of Milwaukee, Wis.; and his special friend and caregiver since 2002, Linda Armstrong of Warren.

Preceding him in death are his parents and one sister, Barbara Strickland.

Services are private.

The family gives special thanks to Valley Counseling, Waterstone Place Apartments, and Tri-C Church (Christ-Centered Church) in Youngstown for the marvelous and selfless care they provided for Carlton these many years.
