Carl F. Smith

WARREN – Carl F. Smith, age 67, formerly of Bristolville, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 7, 2020 at Vibra Hospital in Boardman.  He was born October 10, 1952 in Warren, the son of Leon and Orleta (Burton) Smith.

Carl attended Bristol High School and worked as a mechanic.  He was gifted with his hands and loved working on cars.  He found great joy in Fourth of July celebrations and could always be found near the fireworks. He was a big Browns fan and enjoyed his family and his dog, Hank.

Precious memories of Carl live on with his former wife and best friend, Donna Smith of Warren; one son, Jeremy Cox of Warren; two granddaughters; four sisters: Patsy Ozanich of Warren, Joyce Bubenheim of Florida, Racheal Bordell of Warren, and Wanda McCready of Warren; two brothers, Larry Smith (Mary) of Warren and James Smith (Vanhester) of New York; and many nieces, nephews, and their families who miss him and thought the world of him.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Leon and Orleta Smith; two sisters, Hazel Smith and Frances Darling; and five brothers: Ed, John, Charles, Ronald, and Franklin Smith.

Services are 12:00 noon Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Bristolville.  Friends may call 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
