SOUTHINGTON – Bruce Wayne Fanton 77-passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 12pm at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls, OH. He was born on December 18, 1943 in Youngstown, OH. He was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He is a member of New Lisbon Masonic Lodge #65 in Lisbon, OH. He loved riding motorcycles, traveling, fishing, telling jokes and spending time with his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife; Joann Fanton, his children; Keith Fanton of Newton Falls, Sonny Long of Struthers, Becky Dessez “Rick” of Howland, Michelle Valley “Dean” of W.VA., his siblings; Charles Fanton of NH., Ladonna Favinger “Sparky” of NV., and sixteen grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. His dog “WINSTON” will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his father; Bernard Fanton and his stepmother; Marie Fanton and his brother; Bill Fanton. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 7pm. Friends may call one hour prior the time of the service. There will be full military honors at the funeral home.
