Betty F. Hartle

WARREN – Betty F. Hartle, age 79, lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 28, 2021 at St. Joseph Health Center.  She was born July 8, 1941 in Warren, the daughter of George W. and Velma (Shay) Thompson.

Betty attended Champion High School and was a loving homemaker.  You could find her cooking up a storm, or out with her friends playing Bingo.

Precious memories of Betty live on with seven children: Cheryl E. Morrow (dec. Reid Morrow) of Warren, Jessica R. Witter (Eric) of Sunset Beach, N.C., Harold F. Rice of Warren, Weldon K. Rice of Ocean Isle, N.C., Annabelle S. Reighard of Longs, S.C., Crystal D. Hoostal of Ocean Isle, N.C., and Janell M. Hartle (Michael Harvey) of Warren; twenty-one grandchildren: Tiffany D. Hartle (Ahmed Mohamed), Jolene L. Hartle, Cynthia D. Hartle, Stephany L. Steinmuller, Mary F. Steinmuller, Johnathan A. Moorhead, Ashley R. Moorhead, Mitchel S. Moorhead, Jacob Moorhead, Jamie Moorhead, Ranae A. Brady, Clarissa S. Hartle, Joseph H. Reighard, Justin D. Reighard, Joshua T. Weaver, Amber L. Hoostal, Ariel L. Ramsey, Aurora D. Ramsey, Megan J. Adams, Morgan E. Hartle, and Julia R. Hartle; thirty-one great-grandchildren; one brother, Billy D. Thompson of Warren; one sister, Debbie E. Rossi (Victor) of Warren; and fourteen nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, George and Velma Thompson; her former husband and lifelong friend, James L. Hartle; one daughter, MaLinda Hartle (Robert Smith); three sons, James L. Hartle, Jr., Norman Lahti, and Jarred L. Hartle; two grandchildren, James L. Hartle III and Aaron S. Hoostal; and three brothers: John W., George L. and Larry L. Thompson.

Services are 7:00 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with Elder Victor Rossi officiating.  Friends may call 6:00 tyo 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Masks are required, and social distancing practices will be observed.
