Betty Bixler

WARREN – Betty Bixler, age 95, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.  She was born July 12, 1928, in Clariton, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Michael and Helen (Pastorick) Pollick.

Betty attended St. Mary’s School and was a 1945 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was a Bank Teller and Bank Manager at Trumbull Savings & Loan retiring in 1990, and a member of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church.

She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan till her last breath and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, playing cards, and watching Hallmark movies.

Fond memories of Betty live on with her sons, William T. Bixler (Kathleen) and Robert A. Bixler (Patricia); daughters, Susan A. Battison (Robert) and Nancy B. Onder (Timothy); brother, Thomas Pollick (Joann), twelve grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband of forty-nine years William C. Bixler, whom she married on April 14, 1951, and who passed away on July 4, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents: a sister, Barbara Teachout, and brother-in-law Richard Teachout.

Calling hours are 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 3020 Reeves Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am at the church, with Father Edward Stafford officiating and Father Tom Eisweirth co-officiating. Interment will take place at All Souls cemetery following the service.
