Obituary

            Lordstown- Benny Spears Thompson-82.  He passed away at his home with his family at his side on July 15, 2022. He was born in Marigold, MS on March 9, 1940 to Henry and Erna Thompson. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife; Banito, his children; Anthony (Ashley) Thompson of Newton Falls OH., D’Angelo Tharpe of Warren OH., Angela Tharpe of Springfield, TN, Chauna Mason of Columbus, OH, Azaria Hightower of Warren, OH., and Curtis Turner Jr. of Newton Falls, OH., and two grandchildren; Kaya Thompson, D’Angelo Tharpe Jr.. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held at Staton Borowski Funeral Home on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 6 pm. Friends may call one hour prior the time of the service.  A private interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors.
