NILES – Barbara E. Keis, age 74, lifelong area resident, passed away peacefully Monday, August 31, 2020 at Shepherd of the Valley in Liberty, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born December 2, 1945 in Warren, the daughter of Henry and Ann (Racz) Drab.

A 1964 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Barb retired from Packard Electric in 2004 after forty years of employment.  She attended St. Stephen Church and enjoyed spending time wither family and dogs. She also like to go on bus trips, shopping, and concerts.

She is sadly missed by her devoted husband of nearly forty-six years, James E. Keis, whom she married September 12, 1974; four children: Michael R. Rendziniak (Theresa) of Mineral Ridge, Stephanie Paul (Darryn) of Austintown, Jason Keis of Niles, and Jennifer Joseph (Edward) of Niles; five grandchildren: Nikki Rendziniak, Michael Rendziniak, Jr., Gillian Paul, Nicholas Paul, and Colin Joseph; one great-grandson, Ezra; and one sister, Donna Glodde (Terrence) of Kinsman.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Henry and Ann Drab, and two brothers, Kenneth and Henry Drab, Jr.

She will forever be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and her devotion to her family.

Services are private, with interment at Niles Union Cemetery.

The family would like to show appreciation for the kindness and compassion that has been provided to her over the years by Dr. Sheth, Dr. Faul, Dr. Majoub, Dr. Sheng, and by the staff of Shepherd of the Valley.
