Andrew Marvin Marek, 67, of Warren, passed away at 2:25 PM Wednesday at Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

Andy was born February 13, 1953 in Warren, the son of the late Henry and Mildred McCormick Marek and was a lifelong area resident.

He was employed with Union Local 396 as a plumber and pipe fitter.

Andy was married to the former Cathy Ann Comanescu Oberlin and she preceded him in death on September 26, 2010.

He is survived by his daughter Amanda Marie Marek of Warren and two grandchildren Makenna Marek and Amiya Stroud.

Besides his parents and wife, Andy was preceded in death by a brother Robert Marek and a sister Rae Houston.
