Amir Z. Joyce

On Friday, April 16, 2021, Amir Z. Joyce, 12, was called home.  Our beloved Amir went home to be with his maker in the emergency room at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

Amir was born to Nikia and Albert Joyce on November 11, 2008 in Brooklyn, New York.  He was the youngest of three children and he attended school in New York and Ohio.

At the age of three, he had an interest in art and animals.  He loved to lead the church choir.  Our beloved Amir will surely be missed.

He leaves behind his mother Nikia, his father Albert, brother Ryan, sister Janiha; three uncles Brannon, Tyshawn, and Michael; grandmother Evelyn, two great grandmothers Altagracia Thomas and Emmi Joyce; one niece Jayda Newell; one nephew Kahlil Woodall; Godparents Tiara and Eboni and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His grandfather; Alberto Joyce, great-grandfather; Aaron Joyce.

Amir was preceded in death by his grandmother Evelyn Brown.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
