Virginia L. Bathlow, 98, of Warren, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Community Skilled Health Care Centre. She was born January 12, 1920 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Justin and Ruby (Jennings) Blivens, and had moved to Ohio in 1924.
A homemaker, Virginia was a member of the Warren Church of God. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching television.
Fond memories of Virginia live on with her six children: Patricia (Don) Turner of Stanton, Calif., William (Donna) Medwick of Warren, Georgia Benninger of Warren, Karen (Sam) Sentner of Warren, Deborah Clifton of Cincinnati, and Dorothy (Steve) Markovich of Las Vegas, Nev.; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her first husband, Andrew Medwick, who passed away in 1944; her second husband, George Bathlow, who passed away in 1986; a son, Charles Medwick; a sister, Lafon Davis; and a brother, Carl Blivens.
Per her request, cremation is taking place. Her urn will be laid to rest at a later date at Pine Knoll Cemetery.
