Tracy W. Jagel

Tracy W. Jagel, 51, of Boardman, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.  He was born May 19, 1967 in Sandusky, the son of David and Susan (Kerr) Jagel.

A graduate of Vermilion High School, Tracy honorably served his country and retired from the U.S. Navy.  He was currently employed at the federal prison in Elkton, Ohio, a job he loved.  He enjoyed going to Cavs games, fantasy football, collecting sports memorabilia, and hanging out with his grandchildren.

He is sadly missed by his father, David Jagel of Vermilion; his loving wife, Cindy (Smith) Jagel, whom he married September 5, 1986; two sons, Michael (Jennifer Luc) and Tracy (Bre) Jagel, both of Campbell; three grandchildren: Maccoy, Magnolia, and Maverick; and two brothers, David (Liz) and Lamont Jagel, both of New Middletown.

Preceding him in death is his mother, Susan Jagel.

Friends may call 5:15 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where full military honors will be conferred with a ceremony at 5:00 pm Tuesday.
