Scott Eugene Stone

Scott E. Stone, 54, of Warren, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11:26 a.m. in the emergency room at Trumbull Regional Medical Center as a result of a fall at work.  The Trumbull County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating.

Scott was born in Columbus on June 22, 1964 the son of Robert and Dyanne Smurr Stone and was a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School.

For the last year, Scott was a roofer and construction worker for Warzala Construction of Warren.  He also worked as a cook part-time on the weekends for the last three years at the Buena Vista. 

He was a proud member of AA and NA for the last 3 years.

Fond memories of Scott will be carried on by his three daughters Emily (fiancé Damian Shearer) Stone, Hannah Stone and Amanda Stone of Warren; his father Robert of Pataskala; a brother Doug (Lisa) Stone of Clearwater Florida and their children Melissa Paxton, Jamie, Jason, LeeAnn, and Brandon Stone; a sister Lynne McGuire of Columbus and her children Tonya Jones and Jenna Parsley; two granddaughters Audrey and Sophia Shearer; many great nieces and great nephews and by the mother of his daughters Linda Knepper of Warren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service in the funeral home.

A Memorial Service with Pastor Curtis Miller officiating will take place on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road, NE, Warren, Ohio 44483. 

A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow the service at the Warren Masonic Temple, 211 East Market St., Warren, Ohio 44481

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donation’s in Scott’s name to Go Fund Me Account “Rest in Peace Scott Stone”.
