Ruth E. Pinter, 70, of Warren, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 18, 2018 at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born July 20, 1947 in Warren, the daughter of Andrew and Betty J. (Summerlin) Bayus, and had lived in the area all her life.
A 1966 graduate of Champion High School, Ruth worked as a cook at several area restaurants. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gambling, scrapbooking, and her dog, Scrappy.
Fond memories of Ruth live on with her daughter, Yvonne (Tom) Karpinski of Hubbard; a granddaughter, Kellie Stillings; six brothers: John (Patti) of Leavittsburg, Michael (Betty) of Warren, Robert (Debbie) of Warren, Mark (Sherri) of Burghill, Donald of Champion; and Roger (Richard) Bayus of Cortland; and many nieces. nephews, and their families.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Roger Pinter, whom she married June 10, 1995 and who died May 19, 2012; three sisters: Dorothy Almburg, Judy Delancey, and Carol Woodstock; and two brothers, David and Walter Bayus.
Services are 5:00 pm Friday, June 22, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with Pastor Ernie Cunningham officiating. Friends may call 3:00 to 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 10:00 am Saturday, June 23 at Southington Township Cemetery.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Robert Bisel and his nurse practitioner, Donna Kaiser, for their expert care and loving attention for Ruth throughout her illnesses.
