Robert Louis Stevenson, Jr., 59, of Warren, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born April 19, 1960 in Warren, the son of Robert Louis, Sr. and Doris (Proctor) Stevenson. He lived in Columbus the past two years.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Robert was a graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and ITT Technical College. He retired from WCI Steel in 2012 after 30 years and also worked 25 years for Coldwell-Banker as a real estate agent, and as a project manager for Sears. A man who never knew a stranger, he enjoyed the Browns, the Buckeyes, fishing, walking, traveling, spending time with his family and most of all, evenings out with his fiancée.
He is sadly missed by his mother, Doris Stevenson of Warren; his fiancée, Tina Cummins of Warren; one daughter, Bobbie-Shala Stevenson of Canton; one son, Antonio Cardell Stevenson of Canton; two sisters, Valerie Stevenson-Jones (Curtis) of Farrell, Pa. and Robin Dowe of Warren; one niece, Rachaell Davis; and one nephew, Kenny Davis II (Brittney).
His father Robert Louis Stevenson, Sr., precedes him in death.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Monument of Faith COGIC, 2165 Highland Avenue S.W., Warren, with Bishop David L. Herron officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the church. The family requests that all flowers be sent to the church.
