Robert N. McEachren, 74, of Warren, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 1, 2019 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born December 18, 1944 in Valdosta, Ga., the son of Robert and Jean (Lovett) McEachren, and had lived in the Warren area since 2006.
A 1963 graduate of Valdosta High School, Robert retired in 2006 from the Canteen Food Vending Company after 28 years of employment.
Robert had a profound love for God, and was a very active member of the Leavittsburg Church of the Nazarene (so active he danced in his wheelchair during most praise and worships). Being in a wheelchair didn’t stop Robert from enjoying life; throwing a fishing line into a lake, challenging anybody to a game on the Wii, leaving trails of popcorn to his seat in the movie theater, singing country music at the top of his lungs, rooting for his beloved Steelers, and loving his granddaughter, Norah, all brought him endless amounts of joy. Anybody that knew Robert would vouch in saying he could fill any room with happiness and laughter.
Robert’s memories will live on with the love of his life, Mary Fisher of Warren; his stepdaughter, Tammy Fisher of Akron, a best friend, Richard Chatfield of Warren; his uncle, Mack Lovett of Georgia; and countless friends and family.
His parents precede him in death.
Private family services will be arranged to celebrate the life of Robert. There are no calling hours. Cremation is taking place.
