Robert J Buydos

Robert J. Buydos, 77, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:24 p.m. in his home under the comforting care of hospice.

Robert was born December 20, 1941 in Youngstown the son of the late John J. and Anna C. Klesch Buydos Sr. and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a 1959 graduate of Struthers High School and was a barber.  Robert barbered in Struthers and Poland for several years before driving truck for Egner Trans Lines, Lester Coggins and retiring from Tartan Uniforms due to failing health.

He was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Pulaski, PA and enjoyed owning a classic car and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.

Fond memories of Robert will be carried on by his son Robert J. (Tracy) Buydos Jr. of Boardman; a daughter Leah Klein of Struthers; brother Thomas D. (Florence) Buydos of Lowellville; his sister and caretaker Charlotte Christy of Hubbard; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his former wife Donna Traveline and brother John J. Buydos Jr.

 A Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in St. James the Apostle Catholic Church 4019 US 422, Pulaski, PA 16143.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.

The Family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Robert’s name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
