Richard L. Ronzi, 81, of Niles, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Shepherd of the Valley-Niles. He was born June 12, 1937 in Youngstown, the son of Louis and Rose (Delligatti) Ronzi, and had lived in the area all his life.
A graduate of South High School, Richard served in the U.S. Army. He worked in the tool and die room at Packard Electric for 35 years, retiring in 2002. He attended Niles Community Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, being in the woods, and all things outdoors.
Fond memories of Richard live on with his loving wife, Judith (Brumbaugh) Ronzi, whom he married February 11, 1977; four children: Michael (Tracey) Ronzi of Kentucky, Daniel (Deborah) Ronzi of Pittsburgh, Pa., Richard L. (Karen) Ohl of Mineral Ridge, and Robert L. (Mary Carasi) Ohl of Girard; eleven grandchildren: Aarron, Jacob, Rachel, Rita, Girard, Richard J., Kellie, Eric, Jessica, Kyle, and Deanna; four great-grandchildren: Olivia, James, Maya, and Kylie; and a brother, Larry (Delores) Ronzi of Austintown.
Preceding him in death are his parents and a son, Stephen Ohl.
Services are 3:00 pm Friday, June 29, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with Rev. David Edwards officiating. Friends may call 2:00 to 3:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
