Pam Johnson, 70, of Howland, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:02 a.m. in her home under the comforting care of hospice.
Pam was born August 24, 1948 in Warren the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gloria Goff Walker and was a lifelong area resident.
A graduate of Howland High School, Pam was employed with Community Bus Service for 10 years as a bus aide and driver.
Fond memories of Pam will be carried on by her children Tracey (Jack) Kelsh of Howland, Seana Popa and Jeremey Johnson with whom she made her home; two brothers Douglas (Diane) Walker of Howland and Robert (Wanda) Walker of Georgia; two sisters Deborah Wells of Cortland and Terri (Tom) Woodrum of Howland and five grandchildren Michael (Felicia) Zickefoose, Dylan and Cherish Kelsh and Jayce and Devon Johnson.
Besides her parents, Pam was preceded on February 4, 2004 in death by her husband Gordon Johnson with whom she married on June 20, 1981.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at a later date with inurnment to take place in Howland Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Pam’s name to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
