On January 28th 2019, Orson W. Wells, formerly of Bracevillie, Ohio, passed away in result of cardiac arrest at Ohio State University Hospital. He gained his wings, just 27 days after his 66th birthday.
Born on January 1st 1953, Orson was the second oldest to Dicie Lee Wells and James “Buddy” Charles. Orson graduated from LaBrae High School, Class of 1971, before going on to take several college courses surrounding Psychology during his adulthood.
Orson enjoyed spending time with his family, playing chess and scrabble, and listening to music. While he enjoyed all sports, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers win is what he took pride in the most. In his spare time, Orson also enjoyed reading and mentoring others. Mr. Wells was a huge advocate for education and always enjoyed both learning and teaching others new things.
Orson is survived by his wife, Pamela Wells of Circleville, Ohio; three sisters, Billie Wells of Chesapeake, VA, Elizabeth Taylor and Charmaine (Chris) Drake, both of Warren; three brothers, Kenny (Beverly), Jeffery, and Clyde “Junior” Wells all of Warren; daughter, Teletha Provitt of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Salinda “Star” Sellers of Youngstown; twelve grandchildren, and soon to be eight great grandchildren. Orson is also survived by many (great) nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceding him in death is his Mother & Father; Brother, Cleo “Hackie” Wells; Son, Orson “O”; and Daughter, Tamika Burney.
Orson impacted any individual that he came into contact with and he will be greatly missed.
Services are 11:00 am Friday, February 8, 2019 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Braceville Township Cemetery. Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
