Mary Scott Obituary

Mary E. Scott, 94, of Howland, entered into eternal rest Friday, May 10, 2019 at home. She was born June 29, 1924 in Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Alexis and Agnes (McGinnis) Herve, and had lived in the United States since 1958.

Mary worked for many years as a registered nurse at Warren General Hospital. A member of Blessed Sacrament Church, she enjoyed reading and her grandchildren.

Precious memories of Mary live on with her beloved husband of nearly 72 years, Richard H. Scott, whom she married July 1, 1947; two daughters, Bonnie Scott (Cedric Sberna) of Chicago, Ill. and Marla Jones (Kevin) of Howland; two granddaughters, Ashlee Jones and Sara Vescrea (Giorgio); and five siblings.

Preceding her in death are her parents and four siblings.

Per her request, cremation is taking place. Services and entombment will take place at a later date.
