Mary Elizabeth Fenton, 98, of Warren, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at home, with her loving family at her side. She was born September 24, 1919 in Warren, the daughter of Sandor and Elizabeth (Churdar) Chryst, and had lived in the area all her life.
Mary attended Warren G. Harding High School and worked for many years at Trumbull Lamp. She belonged to North Park Avenue Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Warren. After retirement, she enjoyed reading, taking care of her garden, watching her soap operas, going camping and to Florida, and most of all, her ever-growing family.
Fond memories of Mary live on with her three children: Linda Campana of Warren, Donald G. Fenton of South Dakota, and Gigi (Gordon) Ballentine of Lordstown; four grandchildren: Tracey Campana, Bill (Michelle) and Steven Campana, and Jodi Ballentine Barr; six great-grandchildren: Eric, David, Dustin, Isabella, Sophia, and Spencer; and four great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her beloved husband, Donald C. Fenton, whom she married April 26, 1947 and who died May 10, 1958; a sister, Betty Superak; three brothers, Ray, Alex, and George Chryst; and a great granddaughter, Autumn Placer.
Services are 11:00 am Friday, April 13, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren. Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio Living Home Health Care Hospice.
