Magdalena L. Maher

Magdalena L. Maher, 75, of Howland, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.  She was born February 25, 1943 in Germany, the daughter of Alois and Katherina Jager, moving to the United States in 1968.

Magdalena was of the Catholic faith and retired from GE-Ohio Lamp.  She enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is sadly missed by her husband, Larry G. Maher; two daughters, Sabine Baldwin of Woodbury, Vt. and Tina K. (Rick) Croyle of Warren; three grandchildren: Joseph Miller, Khera Maher, and Brittany Miller; four great-granddaughters, Karsynn, Addyson, Madilynn, and Olivia; a sister, Sigrid Jager of Germany; a brother, Toni (Maria) Jager of Germany; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Preceding her in death are her parents; a son, Larry G. Maher, Jr.; and a brother, Heinrich Jager.

Services are 6:00 pm Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Friends may call 4:00 to 6:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
