Louise J. Burnett of Cortland, Ohio, went with the angels into the comforting arms of Jesus at her home on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born April 22, 1934, the daughter of John and Matilda Zagger.
Our loving, faithful, and strong Mom was always there, interwoven in our lives like a beacon of light with her humor, faith, wisdom, and most of all, her unconditional love. The amazing and loving stories of her life are gifts to us and anyone who knew her. Her last words were “I love you – All.”
After her retirement from Children’s Services, her greatest joy was to travel to visit family and celebrate life’s joyous occasions. Her fellowship with her church community was a significant part of her life.
Affectionately known to her family as “Weezy”, she leaves to cherish her memory her children: LuAnn (John) Foster, JoAnn (John) Barrington, Susan (Edward) Campbell, MariLee (Terry) Larson, and Thomas (Lisa) Burnett; her grandchildren: John (Nicole), Joseph, Jennifer, Michael (Elizabeth), Sara, Laura, Hannah, Erin, Michelle, Matthew (Karla), Bob, and Amanda; her great-grandchildren: Olivia, Owen, Callie, Penelope, and Kaleb; and her brother, Glenn Zagger.
She was preceded in death by her son Bobby; her parents; her sister, Norma Webb; and her brother, John Zagger.
Per her request, there will be no funeral or memorial services. Her wishes are for a private celebration of life with her immediate family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Victory Christian Center, Hospice of the Valley, or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
