Joseph A. Bauer, 84 of Howland died Sunday evening July 14, 2019 at Concord Health Care Center. He was born November 26, 1934 in Lucinda, PA. a son of Arthur and Ida (Ditz) Bauer and came to Warren in !955.
He retired as a crane operator from Heckett Engineering and was an Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Vienna.
Besides his wife, the former Mary Ann Mauersberg, whom he married in 1959, he leaves two sons, Randall J. of Newport, Michigan and Clifton M. of Middletown, Ohio; a daughter, Laurie O’Leary of Franklin, Tennessee; three brothers, Raymond of Lucinda, PA., Mike of Clarion, PA and Daniel of Baltimore, MD; five sisters, Edith Reinsel of Fairfax, VA., Bernice Reinsel of Fairfax, Marie Mauersburg of Clarion, Evelyn Dwyer of Canfield and Jane Lander of Oil City, PA., and two grandchildren.
Besides his parents, a sister, Betty Hepfl is deceased.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 18, 2019, at 10:30am, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4453 Warren Sharon Road, Vienna, Ohio where the family will receive friends 1 hour prior at the church. Officiating will be Rev. Frank Zanni. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Ohio
