Janie Lutz Obituary

Janie F. Lutz, 72, of Cortland, passed sway peacefully Sunday, February 3, 2019. She was born August 6, 1946 in Greenville, Ala., the daughter of George and Eva Mathews, and had lived in Ohio the past twenty years.

Janie had worked as a nurse in Alabama, and was a current member of Fowler Community Church.

Fond memories of Janie live on with her husband, Howard R. Lutz, whom she married September 30, 2014; a son, Billy Jo Belknap of Aurora; a sister, Earline Wilson (Ray) of North Dakota; and a brother, Ronnie Mathews (Joy) of Greenville, Ala.

Preceding her in death are her parents and a husband, Joseph R. Lima.

Services are 11:00 am Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Fowler Community Church, with Rev. Joel Dickson officiating. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery. Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday at the church.
