James R. Witt

            James R. Witt Sr. of Warren, Ohio entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, at his residence, he was 68. James was born on November 25, 1950 in Warren, Ohio the son of William and JoAnn (Baldwin) Witt and was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Leavittsburg High School and was retired from Larry’s Truck Electric. James attended the First Community Church in Leavittsburg and was a United States Navy Veteran serving as an electrician.

            James was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping in West Virginia. He also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play and spending quality time with his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Terri (Carney) Witt whom he married on February 27, 1971, a son, James R. (Lisa Marie) Witt Jr. of Warren, Ohio, 2 daughters, Michele (Marc) Atkins of Claremont, North Carolina, Kristen N. (Michael) Holko of Twinsburg, Ohio, sister, Jennifer A. (William) Burnham of Leavittsburg, Ohio and 4 grandchildren. He also leaves his best buddy, dog “Buster”. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William R. Witt.

Memorial Services will be 11:00am, Thursday, July 18, 2019  at the Leavittsburg Community Church in Leavittsburg where the family will receive friends 1 hour prior at the church. Officiating will be Pastor John Jaros
