Isabella E. McCloskey

Isabella E. McCloskey, 94, of Niles died Saturday morning September 22, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Warren. She was born February 11, 1924 in Niles, Ohio a daughter of Thomas and Georgeanna Rowbottom and had been a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Howland High School and had worked as a clerk for Trumbull County for many years.

Isabella had been a member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Niles. She was a member of Blue Star Mother’s for many years and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion.

Her husband, John McCloskey is deceased.

She leaves two sons, Thomas (Bev) McCloskey of Lake Milton, and John ((Kathy) McCloskey Jr. of Howland; a daughter, Ruth Ann Murry of Niles; a daughter-in-law, Priscilla of Howland; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday September 25, 2018 at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren with Pastor Curtis Miller officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions take the form of donations to the Animal Welfare League, 545 Brunsetter Road, Warren, Ohio 44481.
