Heather Sharman Boyer passed away quietly in her sleep at her home, after a courageous three-year struggle with cancer. Beloved wife and mother, she was surrounded by her loved ones. Heather was born October 2, 1949 in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of John and Dolly (Forder) Garvin, and had lived in Ohio all her life.
A graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and Youngstown State University, Heather was a homemaker who enjoyed Ohio State University football.
Heather is survived by her husband Tim, son Corey of Solon, and sister Patty Conrad (David) of Lordstown.
There will be a private remembrance for family. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Hospice of the Valley and the wonderful oncology nurses at University Hospital, and requests that all donations go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. http://support.pancan.org/site/TR/DIY/DIYTeamraisers?px=2294659&pg=personal&fr_id=1081
"I wish I could turn back the clock. I’d find you sooner and love you longer." Love you forever, darling.
