Glenn H. Laney

Glenn H. Laney, 86, of Mineral Ridge, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Vista Center at the Ridge.  He was born August 5, 1932 in Coral, Pa., the son of Dolph and Mary (Risinger) Laney, and had lived in Ohio for over 60 years,

Glenn retired from ITT Grinnell after thirty years of employment and attended Fowler United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed boating, fishing, and photography, spending hours in his dark room and restoring old cameras.

He is sadly missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Doris (Taylor) Laney, whom he married June 28, 1951; a son, Barry G. Laney of Hubbard; three daughters: Brenda Edwards of Niles, Monica Brown of Brookfield, and Glenna Knox of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents; a son, Rodney W. Laney; two sisters, Dora Lincoln and Florence Snyder; and a brother, Lester Laney.

Per his request, no services will be held at this time.  Cremation is taking place.
