Frederick T. Brown

Frederick T. Brown, 83, of Warren, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 26, 2018 at home.  He was born July 7, 1934 in Marianna, Pa., the son of Janigan Brogdon and Eva Mae Brown, and had lived in Warren since 1981.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served in Special Ops, Mr. Brown had degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Kent State University.  He worked at both Thomas Steel Strip Corp. and WCI Steel, and was a past member of King Solomon Lodge 87, F. & A.M., and the Elks Lodge. 

He is sadly missed by his wife, Marilyn; five daughters: Sheree D. Porter of Kernersville, N.C., Dawn (Wallace) Evans of Washington, D.C., Felicia (Jeffrey) Jones of Warren, Crystal Richardson of Warren, and Monay (De-Mond) Bruner of Sanford, Fla.; four sons: George Brown of Marianna, Pa., and Vincent, Damian, and Joseph Richardson, all of Warren; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his mother-in-law, Eartha L. Hill of Sanford, Fla.;

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Janigan Brogdon, Jr.

Per his request, cremation is taking place. Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren.
