Floyd R. Hunt, 70, of Warren died Thursday September 20, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Warren. He was born September 11, 1948 in Champion, Ohio a son of Floyd and (Lillian) Hunt Sr.
Floyd worked as a supervisor in a plastic plant for many years and was an Army veteran. Following his service in the Army, he lived in New York City for many years until he met his wife. he moved back to Ohio in 1985.
He leaves his wife, Shaffina Hunt; two sons, Lloyd Hunt of Girard, and Anthony Hunt of Warren; his step-mother, Betty Hunt of Niles; three brothers, Lloyd (Chip) Hunt, and William and Larry Hunt; six sisters, Nora Hunt Devlin, Cory Morgan, Marisa Reynolds, Ellie King, Judy Rutan, and Edna Gorby. He also leaves two grandchildren, Alyssa Hunt, and Lloyd Hunt Jr.
Besides his parents, a sister, Sandy Smith, and a brother, Richard "Ricky" Moore, are deceased.
Funeral services will be held 7:30 p.m. Saturday September 29, 2018 at Liberty Bible Church in Vienna with Pastor McCracken and Pastor Lake officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.
