Ettore DiCesare, 86, of Warren died Friday evening October 6, 2017 at his home. He was born June 26, 1931 in Italy, a son of Adamo and Anna DiCesare. He came to the United States in 1954.

He had been employed as a furnace operator for the Thomas Steel Company for 27 years. Prior to that he had worked for Pittsburgh Steel as a wire drawer. He was a member of St. John Paul II Parish in Warren.

Ettore was an avid music lover and enjoyed making wine, sausage and Prosciutto. He loved his garden and especially his fig trees. Ettore loved his family and was a kind and generous, father, grandfather and husband. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, the former Domenica Galilei, whom he married July 10, 1954; His son, Jeffrey (Christine) DiCesare of Boardman; two daughters, Marisa DiCesare of Massillon, and Anita (Tom) Donadio of Champion; as well as his grandchildren, Allison (Dan) Schleichert, Brent (Elizabeth) Crum, Gabrielle DiCesare, Daniel (Jennifer) Haines, Laura (Roger) Kubilis, Victoria Donadio, Tom Donadio, Brittany (Andrew) Wilde, Nick Donadio, Jacqueline Donadio and Jessica Peacock. He also leaves seven great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, his twin, Goffredo,  Ovidio and Ennio DiCesare.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road, Warren, Ohio 44483 with Father Christopher Henyk officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

The family requests material contributions take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio  44512.
