Ervin A. Reese, Sr., 80, of Warren, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home.  He was born July 27, 1937 in Cleveland, the son of Claybourne and Nettie (Nelson) Reese.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Reese was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Division of Streets and Sanitation of the City of Cleveland.

Surviving are five sons: Dwayne Reese of Ravenna, Christopher Jackson of Warren, Michael Jones of Cleveland, Bryan Jones of Cleveland, and Ervin Reese, Jr. of Columbus; a daughter, Bridget Reese of Streetsboro; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers: Claybourne, Theodore, and Andrew Reese, all of Cleveland; and a sister, Edna Jean Reese of Cleveland.  Preceding him in death are his parents, three sisters, and two brothers.

It was Mr. Reese’s wish that services be held privately.
