Elizabeth Marchio Obituary

Elizabeth L. Marchio, 86, of Howland, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 14, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Warren. She was born December 31, 1931 in Warren, the daughter of Ernest and Belle (Guerrieri) DallaSanta, and had lived in the area all her life.

A 1950 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Elizabeth poured her life into her family as a homemaker. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed television, reading, and most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Fond memories of Elizabeth live on with her two children, Robert (Darlene) Marchio of Southington and Brenda (A.J.) Williams of Howland; six grandchildren: Lisa (Don) Gnapp, Joseph (Amanda) Marchio, Benjamin (Danielle) Marchio, Jennifer (Natalie) Fisher, Krista (Christian) Klaus, and Michelle (Paul) Signorelli; and eight great-grandchildren: Kurt, Violet, Kevin, Rudy, Mina, Nikolas, Franklyn, and Jakob.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her beloved husband, Frank Marchio, whom she married July 3, 1951 and who died August 3, 2008; a stepsister, Loretta Nelson; and two stepbrothers, Joseph and Lawrence Setting.

Services are 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Friends may call 6:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 26 at the funeral home.
