Dorothea Vaughn Obituary

Dorothea S. Vaughn, 90, of Niles, passed away peacefully Monday, June 25, 2018 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was born July 6, 1927 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George W. and Ethel Rae Shaffer, and lived most of her life in Ohio.

A homemaker, Dorothea was very fond of her family.

She is sadly missed by two sons, Paul S. (Karen Jo) and Dale R. (Colleen) Vaughn, both of Howland; a daughter, Ellen Rae (Debbie) Vaughn of Niles; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim (Barbara) Shaffer of Pennsylvania. Preceding her in death are her parents; her loving husband, Ray Vaughn, whom she married in 1949; one sister; and four brothers.

Interment is private and will take place at Howland Township Cemetery.
