Dolores M. McIntyre, 85, of Warren, passed away peacefully Monday, December 24, 2018 at O’Brien Memorial Health Care Center in Masury. She was born November 8, 1933 in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of Andrew and Julia (Rombold) Banjak, and had lived in Warren since 1973, coming from Hubbard.
Dolores worked in housekeeping for 23 years at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1996. She was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed flea markets, yardwork, and all pets, especially dogs.
Fond memories of Dolores live on with her two children, Edward E. III (Patricia) McIntyre of Lewisburg, Tenn. and Deborah (Lou) Carsone of Hubbard; five granddaughters: Eve, Jenny, Amy, Sabrina, and Ashley; nine great-grandchildren: Grace, Cara, Kamy Jo, Kason, Shelby, Ava, Gabriella, Cecilia, and Brooklyn; a great-great-granddaughter, Lily; and a brother, Ronald Banjak of Hubbard.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Edward E. McIntyre, Jr., whom she married May 23, 1951 and who died August 25, 1963; and a great-granddaughter, Savanna.
Services are private. Cremation is taking place. Her remains will be laid to rest at a later date at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
