David R. Gargano, 55, of Howland, entered eternal life at 6:36 PM, Christmas Eve with his loving family at his side under the comforting care of hospice following a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
David was born March 23, 1963 in Warren the son of Donald and Mary Wagner Gargano and was a lifelong area resident.
David was of the Catholic Faith
He was a heavy equipment operator with Donald Walters Paving and enjoyed hunting and fishing. David also enjoyed spending opening day of trout season in Pennsylvania with his friends as well as opening day of deer season with his family and friends. But what was most important to David was spending time with all his family and friends.
David is survived by his mother, Mary of Howland; a son Jason Knepper of Colorado; brothers Donald Gargano of Warren and Daniel Gargano of Howland; a sister Sherry Gargano of Hollywood, Florida; three grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in David’s name to Southern Care Hospice, 5401 Ashley Circle Suite E, Austintown, Ohio 44515.
