Daniel F. Pinti, of Cortland, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Windsor House Canfield.
Dan was born October 15, 1937 in Farrell, Pa., the son of Frank and Lucy (Thomas) Pinti.
He was a 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from YSU. He worked in the cost accounting department at Republic Steel for twenty-six years, then was employed at AVI Foodsystems for fourteen years.
He enjoyed many years of golf, table tennis, and crossword puzzles. He was also a fan of OSU and the Cleveland sports teams.
He leaves his wife of sixty years, Jean Faiver Pinti; his sons: Daniel (Maria), David (Eliana), James (Jennifer), and Thomas (Mary), who shared their home with Dan and Jean; his grandchildren: Alyssa (Gian), Cody, Zachary, John, Rachel, David, and Gianna; a godson, Steven Gutelius; a sister, Frances (Steve) Kay; and a brother, Richard (Anna Marie) Pinti.
Dan was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Warren, where services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow the service at Niles Union Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 7, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home on North Rd., Warren.
