Cindy Connors

Cindy V. Connors, 58, of Cortland, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 6, 2019

She was born in Peoria, Illinois on March 3, 1961 the daughter of late William and Marie Connors.

Cindy attended and graduated in 1979 from Bergan High School in Peoria.  She worked in home health care with MD/DD for 18 years.  It was her passion to help people.  She could make a friend out of a stranger instantly. 

Cindy loved to laugh and loved animals.  She enjoyed time with her family and playing video games.  Cindy had a passion for donuts.

Fond memories of Cindy will live on in her brother William (Terri) Connors of Peoria; her partner Roxann Armintrout of Cortland; a step-daughter Alexandria Rhine of Cortland and her two dogs Molly and Simon; and three cats Baby girl, Bailey and Charlie.

Besides her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her very special buddy-her dog “Odie”.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours and a memorial service will take place at a later date.  A caring cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Cindy’s name to Trumbull County Animal Welfare League, Vienna, Ohio.
