Carol F. Hillman

Carol F. Hillman, of Lordstown, affectionately known as “Peewee”, entered into eternal rest on her 74th birthday, February 20, 2019, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.  She was born February 20, 1945 in Warren, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Nemeth) Jerina, and had lived in the area all her life.

A graduate of Niles McKinley High School, Carol had worked as a receptionist in her family’s businesses. She attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and later Four Mile Run Christian Church.  She was an avid horseback rider and Cleveland Indians fan, and found great pleasure in picking up her granddaughter from school and attending her grandson’s basketball games. She also enjoyed reading, watching movies, and playing Pinochle, Solitaire, and Skipbo.

Precious memories of Carol live on with her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert Edward Hillman, whom she married May 22, 1968; three daughters, Tina Hall of Southington, Denise Hillman Ratell (Ron) of Wisconsin, and Ann Garris (Josh) of Mineral Ridge; two grandchildren, Thomas R. Hall, Jr. and Reagan T. Garris; a sister, Janet Polivka of Howland; and a brother, Gerald “Punchy” Jerina of Niles.

Her parents precede her in death.

Per her wishes, there are no services or calling hours.  Cremation is taking place.
