Betty M. Kozak, 92, of Burghill, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was born November 18, 1925 in Struthers, the daughter of William and Ruth Marie (Laidig) Hann, and had lived in the area all her life.
A homemaker, Betty married the late Peter Kozak on April 18, 1945. They were married for 70 years before his passing on October 30, 2015.
Fond memories of Betty live on with her six children: Ronald Kozak of Atlanta, Ga., Janice Kozak of Warren, Larry Kozak of Burghill, Karen Spohn of Hubbard, Donna Pinkerton of Cortland, and Steven (Dawn) Kozak of Meadville, Pa.; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Titus of Florida.
Besides her husband, Betty is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William and Donald Hann; and a granddaughter, Amity.
Per her request, cremation is taking place. Her life will be celebrated with a service at a later date, and her and her husband’s urns will be laid to rest together at Westview Cemetery in Vernon.
