Audrey M (Mc Glone) Haynie

Audrey M. Haynie, 96, of Vienna, entered peacefully into eternal life with her family at her side on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 5:09 a.m. in her home under the comforting care of hospice.

Audrey was born on July 6, 1922 in Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of the late Daniel and Nettie Stephens McGlone and was a lifelong area resident.

A homemaker, Audrey attended Liberty Bible Church and enjoyed ceramics and the challenges of doing crossword puzzles.

Audrey was married to Howard W. Haynie on February 28, 1941 and they were married for 47 years until his passing on July 26, 1988. 

Fond memories of Audrey will be cherished by four children Paul Haynie, Don (Peg) Haynie both of Vienna, Jean Grove of Girard and Audrey Lundy of Niles; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Audrey was preceded in death by four sons Howard, George, William “Bill” and Robert Haynie; a son-in-law Todd Lundy; a daughter-in-law Kathy Haynie; a grandson Christopher Haynie; six brothers and a sister.

Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. in the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 12 Noon in the funeral home with Rev. Allen McCracken officiating.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses and caring staff of Grace Hospice for all of the wonderful and compassionate care they gave to Audrey and for allowing her final days to be rewarding and comfortable in the presence of her own home.
