Alfreda Wilson, 62, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, after an extended illness, while surrounded by loved ones.
She was born Jan. 2, 1956, and was raised in Warren, a daughter of Mrs. Daisy M. Sanders and Sam Wilson.
She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, was employed at Trumbull Memorial Hospital for 42 years as a medical coding abstractor and was a member of Monument of Faith Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include daughter, Delicia I. Wilson-Stephens of Warren; sisters, Julia Wilson of Lithonia, Ga., and Cleary McElroy and Dale Armstrong, both of Warren; brothers, Jordan Sanders of New York, Samuel and Byron Wilson, both of Warren, and I. Z. Wilson of Ellenwood, Ga. Besides her parents, Alfreda was preceded in death by her sister, Heleen Sanders.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., with calling hours 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Monument of Faith COGIC Warren and at 1016 Bennett Ave. NW, Warren, Ohio 44485. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
