Walter S. Bogden

HOWLAND – Walter S. Bogden, age 89, entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 4, 2024 at his home.  He was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1935 in Warren, the son of Walter and Antionette (Gnat) Bogden.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Walter also earned a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees in business.  After serving his country honorably in the U.S. Navy, Walter lived in California and worked thirty years for Intel until his retirement.  He enjoyed large gatherings and parties with friends, dancing, computers, and was an able handyman.

Precious memories of Walter live on with his loving wife of nearly twenty-three years, Judith (Swab) Tubbs, whom he married July 8, 2002; his son, Eric Bogden of California; two stepdaughters, Amy Tubbs of Hershey, Pa., and Sherry Miracle (Cody) of Cortland; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Bernice Marino (Dom) of Chicago.

Preceding him in death are his parents and his son, Scott Bogden.

According to his wishes, cremation is taking place.  Services are private.
