Norbert J. Jozwiak

Howland - Norbert J. Jozwiak, age 93, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, in Warren, OH. Norbert was born August 20, 1930, in Elmira, Michigan to parents John and Lottie Dzwik Jozwiak.

He retired from Taylor-Winfield after 38 years as an engineer. He taught CCD classes for 23 years and was a member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Church. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, trapping, fishing, gardening, winemaking, photography, and beekeeping. He was an avid reader and blood donor.

Norbert was married for 59 years to his beloved wife, Teresa Luich Jozwiak, whom he married June 8, 1963.

Norbert is survived by his children Donald (Deanna) Jozwiak of Woodstock, GA, Kathleen Jozwiak of Wickliffe, OH, Andrew (Melissa) Jozwiak of San Antonio, TX and Nancy (Richard) Sandy of Bazetta, OH; sister Loretta Wing of Onaway, MI; grandchildren, Andrea, Dan, Nicholas, Lauren and Nathan and great grandchildren, Ezra and Lena.

Besides his parents, Norbert was preceded in death by his wife Teresa; brothers, Chet, Max, and Erwin Jozwiak; sisters, Christine Duggan, Louise Bovair and Ruth Jozwiak.

Friends and family will be received from 5pm to 7pm Monday, March 18, 2024, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home 962 North RD NE in Warren. The rosary will be said at 6:45pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10 am Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Vienna, Ohio. Burial will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Warren, OH.
