Lillian F. Blackwell-Carr

WARREN – Lillian F. Blackwell-Carr, age 67, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 29, 2024 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  She was born April 16, 1956 in Andover, the daughter of Marion Edward and Mae Ollie (Boyd) Blackwell.

A graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, Lillian also earned an associate’s degree from Kent State University.  She worked as a pre-school teacher and attended the Church of the Living God.  She was a fashionable dresser and enjoyed cooking, dancing, shopping, and most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Precious memories of Lillian live on with her eight children: Latoya (Columbus) Gore, Anton, Maya, Teneesha, Michelle, Tamara, TiCarra  Blackwell, and Katrina Carr (Sheldon) Sparks; forty-three grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delores and Katherine; and a host of nieces, nephews, and their families.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her beloved husband, Charles Edward Carr; four sons: Michael, Justin, Anthony, and Cory Blackwell; three sisters: Johanna, Marilyn, and Shirley; and four brothers: William, Charles, Eddie, and Jimmy.

Calling hours are 9:00 to 10:00 am Monday, April 8, 2024 at Restoration Christian Fellowship Church, 760 Main  Ave. S.W., Warren, Ohio 44483, where funeral services will begin at 10:00 am, with Pastor India Bell officiating.  All who knew and loved Lillian are welcome to attend and celebrate her good life. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
